Stayed in the Swallow suite, nice two bedroom suite with smaller kitchenette and living room. I really liked how each room had its own thermostat and door for privacy. The housekeeper was super sweet and gave input on the better location for pizza that night since I had no transportation. Though the Commissary and BX are within a walking distance, it was Sunday.
Well, the bed was way to hard for me, but the room was very nice. I tried to joke around with the evening g staff about how far they are down the road from the gate. I think it fell short. Will stay again.
The suites are sweet! You can really relax properly here. The towels are fluffy and the beds are comfy. Each separate room offers a personal sink/mirror combo and tv along with a DVD player. It's close to the water too! Lovely establishment.

Renovated barracks turned into suites. Like other reviewers mentioned, it is outdated but who cares. If you're staying here you're likely TDY and not on your honeymoon. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that a) the air conditioning works (unlike previous military installations I've stayed at), and b) you can control the thermostat (also unlike previous places that give an illusion of control). The suite has a microwave, refrigerator, sink, safe, 2 TVs, wifi that is decent and can stream. The bed was comfortable. Parking is plentiful and of course free. Two washers and two dryers that are free to use and located on the 2nd floor. There's also a small fitness center on the 2nd floor. Claude at the front desk for reception (different building) was great and professional. Overall if you understand where you are and why you're here this place is great.
